Jan 15, 2018  I've downloaded and upgraded from avr-libc-1.8.0 to avr-libc-1.8.1 in order to gain support for atmega256rfr2 devices but avr-gcc does not recognise the -mmcu=atmega256rfr2. I'm currently on GCC 4.8.1. Will and upgrade to 4.9.1 fix this? The documentation for GCC does not. AVR Libc Home Page: AVR Libc Development Pages: Main Page: User Manual: Library Reference: FAQ: Alphabetical Index. Assuming the following example: 6 code 00107 #include 00108 #include avr/interrupt.h 00109 #include avr/io.h 1 volatile uint16t ctr.

avr-libc 1.8.1 released

Libc Manual

Item posted by Joerg Wunsch <joerg_wunsch> on Tue 12 Aug 2014 09:54:35 PM UTC.

Well, it's been more than 2.5 years since the previous release.
Many people contributed to avr-libc lately, so even though I
didn't have the time for a thorough sweep over the bug
database, I decided to finally roll a new release.
