If you’re just looking to do some reading online and maybe watch a few videos, this thing isn’t for you. No, the DIR-825 is meant for a different kind of consumer.
If you have a blazing-fast connection, you’ll soon figure out that having a single-band technology can lead to throttling despite all those bits. That’s why manufacturers came out with dual-band technology which, apparently, requires four pointy antennas to function. In truth, this modem still isn’t as complicated or as feature-packed as some of the manufacturer’s other models. You can tell that because they didn’t dare give it the “Nighthawk” label. Oh, no. That one is reserved for the really mean routers.
The DIR-825 comes just short of that, though. Setting up both channels to work as they should without the D-Link DIR-825 manual will soon prove to be an implausible mission. We didn’t say impossible, but why take the chance?
