SET UP THE CHRONY INFRARED LIGHT with a 120V AC Adapters: Step1: Follow the “Quick Set-up Instructions” on the manual of your Chrony Model until completion of Wire-Rod set up.
Step2: Install the Front C.I.L. (a) into the front Wire-Rods of the Chrony and install the Rear C.I.L. (b) into the rear Wire-Rods of the Chrony. Make sure the Green and Red LEDs inside the C.I.L. housings are facing towards the front (The Main Power Jacks will be on the left side, see Fig. 1).
Step3: Plug 4FT Power Connection Cord (f) to each front and rear Power Connection Jacks of the C.I.L.
Step4: Connect the jack plug of 120V AC Adapter (c) to the main power jack of the front C.I.L. (a), and then plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet. When the green LEDs on the C.I.L. appear, it’s READY to use. If the red LED appears, this indicates a bad connection or power status (low battery, input Voltage is lower than 12V DC, or the Current is lower than 400mA).
Note: If the front and rear C.I.L. are installed in reverse, the velocity accuracy will be affected. SET UP THE CHRONY INFRARED LIGHT with an AutoStarter Battery Pack: The AutoStarter does not come fully charged from the factory. It is necessary to charge the unit before initial use. Refer to “Recharging the AutoStarter” portion of the AutoStarter manual. The “ Function Button” of the AutoStarter has two positions IN and OUT. The “IN” position is OFF and the “OUT” position is ON. When the unit is shipped from the factory, it should be in the “IN” position. (See Figure # 3)
